  • A fully finished installation for a single skylight in a cathedral or flat roof starts from $4,900 + GST. This includes the skylight installation and a fully finished internal light channel, ready to enjoy.

    Final pricing will depend on your choice of skylight or roof window, roof type, access and site conditions. Where structural engineering is required for the skylight or roof window installation, additional costs may apply.

  • The skylight or roof window is typically installed and made weather-tight within one day. The complete installation, including the internal light channel, plastering and painting, is generally fully finished within 2–4 days. Timing may vary depending on the roof type, site conditions, number of skylights, weather and the scope of work.

  • A professionally installed skylight should not leak. We use VELUX skylights with the appropriate flashing system for your roof type and pitch. Experienced builder Michael and the Canvas Constructions Co team carefully manage the roof opening, framing, flashing and weatherproofing to ensure your skylight is properly integrated into your existing roof.
